There’s a reason I have two DSOTM LPs, three CDs, and a cassette. When I purchased the first LP back in the 70’s it was mind opening for me. I wasn’t dropping the needle on my favorite groove like I did with all my other LPs, I was playing it front to back only taking a break long enough to roll another one and flip the record. It was truly a listening experience. Then the Wish You We’re Here LP came out in 4 channel stereo and took the Floyd sound experience to a new high. The Wall was a continuation of the mind trip and to a degree Animals was as well.

To this day, if you told me I could only keep and play one LP ever made, it would most likely be DSOTM or possibly Wish You Were Here.

It might well be DSotM for me. And yeah, always played it straight through.

I play Thick as a Brick that way, as well. Both were meant to be. TaaB isn't quite up there with DSotM, but it's also a darned fine album.

I think FedEx and UPS should have a retro shipping option where each location the shipment lands in would put an old 1920’s style steamer trunk sticker on it so you’d have a visual reminder of its travels every time you looked at it…

thing with these Supros is they were single input, stereo output (I know, silly) and folks keep trying to bridge them quickly blowing them up….

They're paralleling the output channels? I can see why someone clueless might, but yikes.

I've always loved digging in, but am working on playing with low action. I'm finding I can still dig in to some extent; I just have to learn better control. That's a good thing.

I put it as low as I can while still being able to dig in within reason.

Love Trower. One of my fav songs of his is "The Ring" from 1980's "Victims Of The Fury".

Mine too.

I forgot that bassist/vocalists name but he used a Gibson EB (EB-1).

I like the metallic colors on the Embassy Bass too. Plus the ProBucker 760 humbucking pickups and do I dare say it...no 3 point bridge.

The action on the Embassy is much lower than the action on my TBird(which is as low-not very-as I can get it w/o surgery). I'm not complaining, BTW.
Just realized: I can just say "my 'Bird" rather than "the 67NR" since I only have one('Bird, that is).

I'm all about stupid low action.
I'm not that heavy handed player i used to be.
Besides, i like letting the amp to do the work.
For me, i find it much more tonally pleasing that way.

And plenty of expertise to design and build launchers. Potato shaped? No problem, we have a cannon for that.
