Thunderbird Club

One of my fav bass sounds is on Hatfield And The North's "The Rotters' Club" album. Richard Sinclair played a modified Jazz Bass on it, the bass had one Gibson EB bridge pickup approx. between the original J pickup locations.
I got a cheap hacked J bass body from a friend and had a Triumph P neck. I quickly soldered an OLP J humbucker to that position and the sound is there. It sounds also very much like a Ric bridge pickup (same location).
A hack job if there ever was but a promising start. Will post a soundclip later.

........so obviously I bid on it :sorry:
What that a question?

If so, yes. You still have plenty of room before hitting the ceiling.

Fantastic!

Funny think is GC store had a Peavey Mk head as a tube head..... Did they not notice one off/on switch and no tubes light up when on.....

I like Hipshot. Great company. But they are slow at times depending on where they’re at in production of various parts. I waited so long for tuners I ordered through Best Bass Gear (because I had a 10% or %15 coupon) that I pretty much forgot I had ordered them when they finally arrived. It was well worth the wait though as the MIM Mustang I ordered them for is now a great little bass. The Hipshot quality makes a huge difference.
I have their Ultralight tuners on quite a few basses, mostly to reduce weight, but the quality is noticeably higher than the stock tuners that were on my VP and Casady.

As I promised...

After the Gentle Giant riff I've absolutely no clue what I'm playing but the sound is the thing here so bare with noodling.

sweet rig Kara.

Thanks! :)

The Acoustic in the pic is working now, but the Mark III still needs work. I got distracted by other projects.......

my problem now is I have (technically) six amps, that could collectively power ten speaker cabs, but I only have three of those :(

I need to start looking for a bigger apartment so I can get more cabs.......
