Donnie is getting pretty good at this enabling thing. He’s a quick study. He has learned a lot in only a few short years.

Congratulations Kara!

Fantastic! Congratulations! It looked to be in really good shape. And...it had all the EQ sliders!!!

I so want one of those again, but I admit I love that my new used Ashdown is ~4.5lbs--not 35lbs.

I feel you're not wrong..... currently, I'm at 12 basses, 7 amps (counting the "new" one)........ fortunately, if I double up on the 'fridge, I've got enough cabs to plug in 5 of them (the other two, one's a combo, the other is currently broken)

:)
Thought....

Congratulations Kara!
I learned from professional educators and have the "tuition" outlays to prove it.

Getting good? Or is it getting even for what others have forced me to spend?:smug:

I already have two, and don’t need a third or I’d be on it.

Dammit! My current mantra is: “I have to sell something before I buy something (unless it’s white, there’s always an exception)”

I currently have an old P-Bass and old Jazz bass listed on my local CL, but I don’t think they will move until I bring the price to a point below what I’m willing to let them go for.

Change your mantra.

Sounds fun, but......I think I'll stick with my day job (that's at night  )

Back to the question of sleeping in the Suburban...

I would like a Thunderbird this color:

Rally Green. It looks very similar to the color Gibson put on the Mod Shop NR.

That was my favorite color for Camaros. But muscle cars in general often came in vivid colors, which I love. I hate the tendency of cars to be grayscale, although if we moved back to the desert, white would tempt me.

Hey, as long as the shipping is free it can be from any bay it wants.:D
The operative word is “need”…. :smug: “want” is a whole different story.
As it is I really don’t “need” two thirds of the basses I already have, so adding another wouldn’t be wise; cool or fun yes, but not wise.

I bought my Grass Roots/ESP Bass IV from Japan. Being that I'm in SF (Bay Area), it took less than a week to arrive.

This is across the board now with huge corporations. Facebook is another. FTR, Reverb is very good with public relations. I recently had someone commit to "buy" a bass and then vanish. (needless tp say before it was shipped) I contacted Reverb and it was dealt with the same day. If you can't contact a company if an issue occurs - this should not be legal.

Yes, Reverb helped me out too with a problem and were quick. I've had good luck with eBay/Paypal too.
