Thunderbird Club

So... After a real A/B test, the Fever Bassman 300 Pro tried the Peavey MK-III through the 'Peg 810 fridge. But it turns out the Peavey may have a cap job coming... I stopped it off at my tech dude today.
If that makes the Peavey wake up and present all across the bandwidth, something like what Tubezilla (the Fender head) does, that may change my mind...
This will come to an end...

MK-III through an 810.
Great match and underrated tone.

Only comes to an end if you stop playing bass.
Otherwise, have at it Rog.

That's got some sense to it.
Yeah, take Freud for example. If ever there was a dude that was "off," he fit the bill. Not sure how many categories he fit in the DSM, but more than they average person that's for sure. Unmistakably the last dude on earth to label another human as not being "right."

You just need this cab. :smug:

This is a great rig and under appreciated. I had one like this and one of the dumb things I have done in life was get rid of it.

My tech says he knows three dudes who've sold their Peavey MK-IIIs, and all three of them regret it to this day.
Yeah, there's a lot of testimony...

For anyone with Jazz bass woes and you just can't get it sounding as you like, I highly recommend SIT Power Rounds (aka David Es.). Used it again today and I have never enjoyed playing a J that much. The Genzler 4 On The Floor is a nice touch in the mix as well.

No Jazz bass woes here.
EBCF’s are a good match for this one.

Excellent! That’s a very full sounding 4 piece band.
Kinda threw me back to Vanilla Fudge - “Keep Me Hanging On” for some reason. All you need is a keyboard player and you’ll out Fudge Vanilla Fudge.

You'd have to go a long way to out-fudge their stage theatrics...
