Thunderbird Club

I'd be careful with those, they're not leather and both of mine started to peel within a couple of years.

I have been offered way more than I paid for my red SVT Micro-VR stack. If I sell it, I want to replace it with a small combo that can handle practice sessions with a potential band. Any suggestions in the sub $300 region? Used is fine.

Second question, if you could only have 1 stack, what would be folks choice? Ampeg B-15-N Portaflex fliptop?
Probably a GK 800RB head. Not too particular about cabs.

I was waiting for that question. Potential for smaller outdoor venues. Weight is definitely a consideration. I have a pickup with a shell, so transportation is covered.
At 77y/o, with weak knees and some arthritis, weight has been a big consideration for me for awhile. I had a R&P Kustom 150(1x15, 100+W) that sounded great but weighed too much for me to handle alone. I bought a 34.5# Rumble 200c(1x15, 140W internal, 200W w/extension)in 2015-still using it. I've used it outside without FOH and it's plenty, however, our drummer isn't a 'pounder'. The Rumble 500c(2x10, 350W internal, 500W w/ extension, 36.5#)is also worth looking at. Both are available used at decent prices.

Were money no object( :roflmao::roflmao: ), I'd prolly have someone build a 32" scale NR 'Bird II, all mahogany, 1 1/2" nut, 760 pup, 2 piece bridge/claw in emberglow. But I still gots mufunzalo.
Side note to the above: Today I sent the Infernal Revenooers about what it would cost to have that built.
Mufunzalo-er. :(

Good stuff.

As time goes on I'm finding that I prefer my single pickup Birds, II's be they from Gibson, Lull, Greco or BaCH, the IVs have a place as well, not like I'm going to quit playing them anytime soon.

RAWR!

I mostly play my birds as if they were IIs, only occasionally dialing in a smidge-o-bridge (not to be confused with other s-o-b's).

You should be able to find a used Rumble 100 v3 for $300 or less. I love mine.
