Thunderbird Club

I haven't 'missed' the barely functional superfluous pup on the 'Bird at all, but I'll admit to liking the BLEND knob on the Epi Embassy to give me a little extra clarity for more rock-ish tunes. I use mostly neck pup but add in some "lead"(?)pup for punch.
I know you have a budget. But get that thing fixed Mike. Your Thunderbird will be much more valuable for it.

The pair of Greco humbuckers is coming my way.
Guess now I have to build a bass to put them in ;-)
Cool! Just note the Greco pup locations and spacing and the slightly reduced scale length. There’s some magic in those pickups and the spacing they use (quite different from the modern or vintage Gibson Tbird pickup locations). Be sure to post some pics here, I love your builds!

fortunate? don’t know…..you’d be surprised how many vocalists (female or male) are attracted to a rehearsed, gigging act….
Yeah. It has been a while. In about two years, I hope to jump back in.

Back in the day (70’s) we had Jean Mayer as our main vocalist. She wrote some minor hits in the eighties. She married Dan Fogelberg, who unfortunately passed away due to cancer. She had the sweetest voice I’ve ever heard. I haven’t been to her website in some time. She mentions singing in a band with high school friends. I was one one them. She’s a wonderful person. My Mom and her Mom were friends in the local art community.
Is that the SVT-210AV (200W) cab? I've only seen black with a silver grill cloth. I didn't know they made any other colours.
it is very rare. Dave has a very nice setup. He needs to post pics. It will be worth considerably more in a few years.
