Great to speculate about what you'd do if you had the $$...but here's the bottom line IMO:

With Hi Watts (or any other limited quantity of quality vintage gear - like unbroken 60s Thunderbirds for instance) their value is most likely to go up or at least stay the same if you purchase them for the low end of WHATEVER the current market is.

If you got the $$ or can get it...and you really want it, BUY IT!

At the least you'll get your money out of it less years of enjoyment value if/when you sell it.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
I cant disagree with you Carlo, but for the time being i have to hild back, i feel that I have to justify having an amp that is that expencive. Besides my kids are inlu 4 and 5. The five y/o want to play baseball and for me that is more important. Otherwise I would half had it already.
