There are beetle infestations in high altitude forests in Colorado that would be controlled by harshly cold winters. There haven't been temperatures low enough for long enough to control the population, and as a result, trees are severely compromised. The result of that is brutal wild fires. It's endless. I'll stop now to avoid climbing up on a soap box.

Even worse.... ( )my dog got fleas last year in February... in Canada! Because it didn't get cold enough, long enough, to kill off the population.

On the bright side, I've only used the snowblower once this year, and I'm waiting for it warm up enough to plant palm trees in the front yard.

When I had my old van, a ratty gas guzzler if there ever was one, my joke was that I was doing my part to make Seattle into a tropical paradise, but that it was working too slowly. The new van burns a lot of fuel, but not near as much as the old one. It isn't such a funny joke these days either.

The Lollar pickups, while a direct replacement, were a bit smaller than the stock Gibson humbuckers. They looked like this:

I bought some pick up rings and small screws on ebay. I cut the heads off the screws, super glued them in the rings, filed them flush and then spray painted them black. They are held on with some silicone so the bass was not modified in anyway.

Thanks! I know most people go with silver but I got this with the Babzic bridge in black, so I did not want to drop the dollars on new parts.
