Thunderbird Club

Just for S&G I went back to the ad and scrolled down. Two interesting points: They have a lotta other [stuff]* for sale like a Gene Simmons axe copy and an 8string SG-body bass, and, the company is named Meng Music. The letter "e" in Chinese is pronounced "u", as in fun. That means the outfit is called "Mung" Music. Mung is a small green bean, but is also slang for, basically, whatever you want it to be. For example, I sometimes refer to my van as "the mungmobile".

*[stuff]=:poop:, but y'all already knew that.:smug:

Ok, then it's most likely is a Chibson T-bird. I was looking at the pg and seeing the lower point below the N-pu, which made me think it was the ss bird like Marshal has, which s in that colour scheme. My SG-bodied V8 8-string was a Chibson with Gibson hs abalone name and Made in the USA stamped on the back... explains why it's so cheap.

High Noon

"I know those rascals are in there somewhere!"
"I smell you...and know you're in there. You're not fooling me."
"We can do this the easy way, or the hard way....."
"OK, I really don't have time to do it that hard way. I got other things to do...."

I tell Mona, "...and if you catch one (no chance), then what are you going to do with it?" :) Gives her a focus visiting Pacifica!

we got these raven chicks falling off their nests as they are trying to learn to fly and the dogs are having a field day….gotta keep them tied up or in the house until they finally fly away…..poor birds….read somewhere once that adult ravens have the IQ of a 7 year old human….:eyebrow:

Still, TBH, if I had an "extra"* $314.29 floating around, it might be worth getting just for grins.

*wuttinnahell is "extra" cash?

Also called "expendable income" ... It's part of the lexicon that includes;"anyone in the US can grow up to be president", and "as long as you pull yourself up by your bootstraps you can trive in America"...

Mona wants nothing to do with them - they are all over the beachfront. Yes - they are very smart.

You think you will wear a dress instead of a skirt? Living life large!

More of a dress girl now, used to be skirts and tops, especially for stage but I'm trying to be a little more colorful since the band restarted, less black a little longer hemline etc. We'll be at Jules Maes in Georgetown on 6/30 if you have time!

I think you'd look stunning in a dress, Mike.

Lots of shaving, like at an industrial level, please!

awesome shot…great looking (love black IIs like Marshall’s) bass….do you know who owns it now? what pup is that?…..where was I when you sold that?…..:bawl:

I never should have sold that bass, but I've done some stupid things in my past when it comes to basses! It had a Lull pickup in it when I sold it, it went to a fellow TBer and club member that lives near Barstow ( I hear it's quite nice there!) but he's since sold it as well. It was well before I had the pleasure of making your acquaintance, I had a cherry two pick up one like your as well, sold it too, as they say "The stupid, it burns"
The light blue one is coming along slowly, the new tuners and tail piece were installed last night, it should be sorted out in time to come for a visit :)

That’s me JIO, yes. And yes it’s kind of the same style as Amon Tobin

Not many people here know about Amon Tobin, he is an artist that I respect and enjoy , so I really appreciate that comment JIO. Do you have a turntable? Should I mail one for you to listen, what do you think?

:bassist: I dig it!

Listening now -

Yes, I have a turntable and have never stopped buying records. All Amon Tobin I have is on CD. I really like his work - also like Paul Schütze, a lot. I have even more of his CD's.
