Our daughter said it finally hit 70°F in Anchorage yesterday. Meanwhile, it was 102°F here when I finished today’s ride.

all Thunderbirds are safely air conditioned at Casa Roadkill.

It's not going to make it to 60F here in Seattle today. I was talking to the woman who works in my office building as part of the maintenance staff about what's happening in the part of Mexico where most of her family live. She said it was over 50C there, and even the people who live there and are used to heat were too hot to do anything except lie around trying to cool off. I doubt a Thunderbird would like that kind of heat very much. The Thunderbirds that live in the Basement of Blasphemy and Bad Ideas have no issues. It's never much above 72F there and never much below about 65F there, being below grade and all. Plus the humidity hardly seems to change, either.

They coexist extremely well.
Nice nice to clean up the high end a little with HPF.
Also able to add a little more low end, i typically use between 50-80Hz, but now can go to 40 if i want.
They both work very well together.
Now i'm all hot and bothered to replace my Ashly with an Empress ParaEq MKII

Looks like a really great pedal.

No affiliation - a bit on the overpriced spectrum, but where else are you going to find such unless you make your own.

I just bought a set. Thanks. I'll use the pickup cover spacer for the Flamingo and the other two for the EB-2's bridge cover. I don't worry much about the Flamingo's finish, but the EB-2 made it this long without major damage. It's a little more deserving of respect.

true to vintage Ampeg weirdness, these Jet (J-12D) models feature a volume, a single tone and a tremolo on/off/speed control….

I have an old Epiphone amp that has a similar kind of arrangement. Turning the amp on by turning on the tremolo makes no sense, but there you have it.

[edit] Kalamazoo Model Two. It's got next to no volume, which makes it the perfect amp to flog with the SG when I don't want to wake anybody up.

We had an A4 jockey take a 37mm AA shell through the left wing-which ain't all that big. It didn't hit anything vital and he was able to bring it back aboard. He got debriefed, changed into his khakis, and had a coupla pics taken with him standing through the hole. Then he turned in his wings.

I dunno. If you are going to fly a plane that might get shot at, flying one that can take that kind of damage would be my choice. There was a story about engineers looking at damaged planes that returned during WWII. They initially thought they needed to armor up the places that were full of holes when the plane got home. Then some bright person figured out that they needed to armor up the places that didn't have holes when the plane got home. Those were the places that a hit meant the plane was going down. Funny how logic works.
