The Steel Leather is something similar to Enhancers, Sonic Maximizers and other Exciter type pedals, right ? How does the combo HPF/expander coexist ? I like the idea of expanding a cleaned-up tone.

A little digging and found a note saying unbranded. Guessing Chinese copy.
They coexist extremely well.
Nice nice to clean up the high end a little with HPF.
Also able to add a little more low end, i typically use between 50-80Hz, but now can go to 40 if i want.
They both work very well together.
Now i'm all hot and bothered to replace my Ashly with an Empress ParaEq MKII
Just for S&G I went back to the ad and scrolled down. Two interesting points: They have a lotta other [stuff]* for sale like a Gene Simmons axe copy and an 8string SG-body bass, and, the company is named Meng Music. The letter "e" in Chinese is pronounced "u", as in fun. That means the outfit is called "Mung" Music. Mung is a small green bean, but is also slang for, basically, whatever you want it to be. For example, I sometimes refer to my van as "the mungmobile".
