Agree. That is my dream car - a second gen Holden Monaro. But I would want (close to) standard rather than ‘pro street’. Note, if that is an LS (luxury sports) version they have changed the front clip out for a standard Monaro or Monaro GTS front clip. The LS had a 4 headlight front so that it was basically a Premier coupe. It was available with the SBC 350 though.this came up for sale……….

Kinda has a Vega front end and a Chevelle back end thing going on. With a proper high performance V8 crammed under the hood that’d be a neat car to own.
Yes, even has tail lights in the rear bumper like a 68 Impala and the 72? A bodies, Chevelle etc.
Holden had a few exPontiac guys come through the styling department in the 60s and this generation received US GM bolt spacing to allow for the Pontiac RallyII wheels on these, as well as a turned steel look instrument cluster and the Pontiac sports steering wheel ala 2nd Gen Firebird. Engines were local 6s and V8s (2) plus the 350 Chev until your emission laws neutered it. Then they bumped the compression on the 308 local engine up to cover the 350 loss.

Last in the Bay Area in the early and mid '90s. First El Niño, then El Niña. I just remember a lot of rain.
