Yeah, sort of what I thought. Guess I'll need to replace it, because I gotsta have my treble and volume. I also finally adjusted the pickup height to bring its output in line with my other basses, though guess that doesn't matter much now! I'm thinking of going with the Thunderbucker '63, what are people's experiences with the different Thunderbucker models?
63 is the original Reverse clone. 66 is hotter, it's a clone of the NR spec. 'S' is currently the hottest Steve winds. It's the closest to the Greco pickup in output but the magnets are Alnico and there's a lot more wire in it for a smoother sound.
