Dio era is fabulous too.

I’ll spin Sabotage. It’s probably been 40 years. I still listen to 1 through 4 on occasion.

As for Dio, the guy wrecked my bachelor party. It’s hard for me to get over that. But I’m mellowing so I’ll check it out when I get a chance.

Would be great, but the one gauge they don’t have is .115, which it so happens would probably be the exact one I would need for a few applications. They have it in the gauge calculator, but they don’t (or didn’t) have it when I inquired about this about 5-6 month ago.

You want a good quality pencil iron. A Weller WLC-100 (5-40 watts) is a good choice. Lead-free, resin core solder. (It's harder to use than leadedm but safer and better for the environment - I don't even know if you can still buy leaded). Get some wires of various sizes to practice on.

A single tip - single temperature iron will work, but for a bit more money, you can buy an iron with changeable tips and temperature control.

I pretty much stopped listening to newer Sabbath after IV. I'm listening to Sabotage now since several of you love it. That first intro 50 second bit was trippy, almost something Jefferson Airplane might have done. But Symptom of the Universe is recognizably Sabbath - for the most part. So far, so good. Interesting mix of hard rock & heavy metal.

One of my big regrets is getting rid of my original Masters of Reality - a friend (soon to be girlfriend) bought me that right after it came out.
