We saved the bashing for FSOs. Then Chucky had to nail their third set with one.

We kicked things off with pizza and Thunderbird playing at Chucky’s Friday night. Saturday included six and a half hours of playing Thunderbirds and assorted other basses through some vintage amps at More Music in Santa Cruz were host David Haniloff and his guitarist assistant Becca made us feel at home. We has a great dinner at Ridgemark Golf Club in Hollister (I highly recommended the Cowboy Burger). We had a pleasant Sunday Breakfast at Flapjack’s in Tres Pinos. We went to Damn Winery in Hollister for the better part of the afternoon where we enjoyed listening to Becca play her guitar for a couple of sets with Chucky and the John Michael Band. We adjourned to Chucky’s for more Thunderbird goodness and conversation. We capped off the evening with a late supper at a local Mexican grill. A few of us stragglers are meeting this morning for breakfast before loading the cars and heading home.

I want to give a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and Chucky for their friendship and generosity.

Is this a great club or what?

One of the cool things about TC is how humble and chill people are. Nobody was like, “look at me, how awesome!” Everyone complimented everyone else. Some of us don’t realize how good we are; I hope everyone took away a new appreciation not just for each other, but for ourselves and our abilities.

We did have a taste of your excellent home brew. Thanks for bringing it. And we had a twelve of Negra Modello Friday night. Not to mention the various libations consumed at the Winery Sunday. And there was some scotch to sip that Geo brought as well…..

No enabling needed on that one. I’ve been looking for one for a couple months. Cool kid Jeff did give me the post purchase thumbs up. Not sure if I’ll replace the grill cloth or just look like I’ve been playing for decades. That will hold up as long as I don’t start playing and destroy the illusion. :roflmao:

Yeah. Well, I am concerned about your OCD. So that’s why I mentioned replacing the cloth.

I think I'll start with today and will come back with some more pictures when I have rested and am not so loopy feeling.
Frank and I left Hollister at 1:50AM with a very packed Subaru, a couple of changes from what we came to California with. While at More Music, Frank spotted a beautiful Epiphone Joe Bonamassa Sig Firebird and it came home with us (I'll shoot some pics Thursday) and I decided to leave the MPC Outlaw with Chuck for awhile, we had spoken about it and while the GTG was fun there really wasn't time for him to really get to play that bass.......

I don't mind saying that it makes me tear up when I think about what we all just did, words fail me.
Thank you all for making the club the exceptional thing that it is, and of course Thank you @ Chucky Stiletti and his lovely wife, Rosa for opening up their lovely home to us.

A pic of Jeff and I, we barely know each other yet like he says, "it seems like we've been best friends forever.
