Thunderbird Club

The best I remember was an IPA my niece's fiancee brewed for their wedding in Belfast. As far as anything you can buy recently, I absolutely love Dragon's Milk. If a stout counts. Pretty potent, though.
Dragon's Milk is good stuff. And since I only drink stouts/porters, they count.

My Hard Rock band “Bad Lemon” (as opposed to my heavy rock band “Red Sun Ruins”) has released our 5th “EP” named Bad Lemon V.

No Thunderbird content but I recorded “Burn it Down” and “Against the Tide” with fretless. Ten years ago I would have never thought I could play a fretless let alone record a somewhat note-ey song (Burn…) with one.

I played that bass again at rehearsal Sunday, love how plays but the strings are just not working in very well, they're prone to going out of tune after being played, much more so than any of my others. May have to try some Ken Smith Burners.

I dig your Videos. I have no idea how you play a T-Bird with the bloody covers over the bridge and pickup

OK, since I have Will's fully functioning VP, I had a test mule to compare to. No wires are out of place as far as I can see, BUT I do have a strange difference that I believe is the issue or symptom of the issue.

So, on Will's, test continuity from the center lug on a volume pot to each leg of the jack. When volume is on, there is continuity to the hot leg on the jack and nothing on the ground. Turn off the volume and it reverses.

OK, same result on my bridge pot and jack, BUT with volume up on the neck pot, I get continuity to both legs of the output jack. That seems to me that I have a bridge between hot and ground on that pot...I just don't see it.

Help me Mr. Wizard.

And since self-promoting is not frowned upon in this finest of groups here's a link tree to my 2nd latest release with the title track being probably closest to rock amongst my releases.
No T-Bird on it 'though or the third track either (one in the middle hasn't got bass guitar at all!) but this is not a close minded group.
If followed I appreciate. If not, no questions asked, no pressure.

Gladly followed!

Didn't hear anything I didn't like or found uninteresting at all. Great job!

Thank you very much!

I’m not sure I posted this link (below) when my other bands 2nd EP went up, but this is the band I am much more excited about, and I actually have writing input for this project. Also, this band has three vocalists, all singing lead and/or backing at one time or another. While heavy, I think this band is very strong on vocal hooks and interesting guitar work.
