So my OCD got the better of me with the case for the ‘05 Studio. I found the right screwdriver bit for the square screws and removed the latch with the sawed off tangs. The prior owner did that because he forgot the combination. Who needs a lock anyway.

When I got my ‘95, the latch on the OHSC Gibson case was locked in and the latch was removed (well) from the lid.

Having no idea what the code was, I figured I’d start at 000 and just do all the possible numbers sequentially from there. Just leave the case in the garage and do a few dozen codes when I would be in there puttering around.

Turned out the combo was 007. Took all of one minute to solve. AND, easy enough to remember.

I should probably sell it to @JIO as he has two bands that that combo/code apples to.

Listening and following now on Spotify! Great so far!

Thanks!!
I believe the best, or at least most interesting, tracks over all 5 releases are “DeadHouse” and “Burn it Down”. There are plenty of “rockers” throughout, simple “big dumb” rock songs as we call them, but those are two (and there are a few others also) that show our guitar players talents in writing and on other instruments such as pedal steel, mandolin, slide.

That was at the factory in Amsterdam.

The best beer I ever remember having was an Alaskan Amber on tap in Juneau. It must have been right from the brewery. Alaskan Amber is decent but not memorably better than anything else when you get it in bottles, on tap in Washington, or in cans, or whatever. That one evening in Juneau, it was spectacular. My wife, who almost never drinks beer, tasted it and got one, too. It was that good. Go figure.

"What's up with two brake peddles? Left side and right?"

....said the 25 yr old looking at the pic.
My daughter in law is a budding gear head. I already know she has a heavy foot. My son is tepid about cars, but when I mentioned to them that the Camaro was going to be self-propelled again in a year or so, she really lit up and he showed a bit of enthusiasm. When they found out it was going to be a manual transmission, they both looked a little concerned. They both knew what that meant, but neither of them has ever driven one. There's a big parking lot down by the University of Washington's football stadium where we can go for them to learn how to drive it.

The kid knows how to handle vinyl records, and he's used a dial telephone. He taught her about vinyl records. They are in training to be archaic people.

The best I remember was an IPA my niece's fiancee brewed for their wedding in Belfast. As far as anything you can buy recently, I absolutely love Dragon's Milk. If a stout counts. Pretty potent, though.

I love Alaskan Amber. It was ubiquitous here some time back and available in all the stores. It’s harder to find now. Rite-Aid by us quit carrying it.
