What length? Have you checked with Gator? This one is 51.5", but of course the bottom end is beveled for a reverse, not an NR.Still too short for the 67 NR.
The problem is that most bass cases list OAL as 48". I don't feel like tying up $$$ to get sumpin' I gots to send back. What length? Have you checked with Gator? This one is 51.5", but of course the bottom end is beveled for a reverse, not an NR.
My "Coffin"TM case, while unwieldy, holds the 67NR with room to spare. The problem is that most bass cases list OAL as 48". I don't feel like tying up $$$ to get sumpin' I gots to send back.
What bass is Ronnie Lane playing? Sounds great whatever it is. The Conneries should cove this -
Zematis?
On the S800, crank the Volume knob and use Master for volume and you'll get great tone. Sorry if you already know this.I'm playing practically naked tomorrow. Just the CP, the Super 800+, and one Rumble 100. No tuner, no EQ pedal, no nothing. I know, I know, but I haven't played out sans board in a long time. Everyone should play in the raw now and then. It's how I've been practicing since the GTG; it really helps focus on technique.

Yup. And I still had to take out the accessory compartment thingy. That is the longest case I have ever seen. But it was all I could find to fit the Bach NR's.

Thanks. I did figure that out, but always check on stuff like this. I liked the S800+ fine, but when I started doing that, I loved it.On the S800, crank the Volume knob and use Master for volume and you'll get great tone. Sorry if you already know this.
FWIW, I put a coupla rolled up towels between the lower bout and the case and another towel over the pickups.Yup. And I still had to take out the accessory compartment thingy.

Maybe @TBird1958 can chime in on the resistance on her pair. I measured them and the resistance matched what was on the box label.

I think we are on the same page.Dave, mine are 8.1K Neck and 9.37 Bridge, I haven't measured them, nor am I really happy with the bass just yet. The pickup height really needs some adjustment and I need to find a couple of those black spacers to get everything looking right - I may redo the wiring as well since I already have the pots on hand.
I bet you could talk them down to 90K with free shipping![]()
And that's why I always gravitate towards GK. With the exception of the Contour feature, I find it really easy to at least get a really good tone.Thanks. I did figure that out, but always check on stuff like this. I liked the S800+ fine, but when I started doing that, I loved it.
