What length? Have you checked with Gator? This one is 51.5", but of course the bottom end is beveled for a reverse, not an NR.

The problem is that most bass cases list OAL as 48". I don't feel like tying up $$$ to get sumpin' I gots to send back.

Everyone should play in the raw now and then. It's how I've been practicing since the GTG; it really helps focus on technique.

That is the longest case I have ever seen. But it was all I could find to fit the Bach NR's.

Coffin often saves the day for those of us with outlier instruments.

Thanks. I did figure that out, but always check on stuff like this. I liked the S800+ fine, but when I started doing that, I loved it.

FWIW, I put a coupla rolled up towels between the lower bout and the case and another towel over the pickups.

Maybe @TBird1958 can chime in on the resistance on her pair. I measured them and the resistance matched what was on the box label.

Dave, mine are 8.1K Neck and 9.37 Bridge, I haven't measured them, nor am I really happy with the bass just yet. The pickup height really needs some adjustment and I need to find a couple of those black spacers to get everything looking right - I may redo the wiring as well since I already have the pots on hand.

Thanks. I did figure that out, but always check on stuff like this. I liked the S800+ fine, but when I started doing that, I loved it.

And that's why I always gravitate towards GK. With the exception of the Contour feature, I find it really easy to at least get a really good tone.
