that's the 58 (year of our Queen) Scaglietti…
I dig how the italians did it, the car builder (scuderia) would build an ultralight chassis with an exotic motor and give it to the different coachbuilders (carroziere) these being;
Pininfarina
Bertone
Ghia
Zagato (my fave)
Scaglietti
Giugaro
Touring
Vignale
Bizarrini
and on and on who would then come up with the bodies…..each their own design, artsy, industrial design at its best…such a cool way to do it, incidentally, "Testa Rossa" means redhead as can be seen from the red head/covers….

Done right! Porsche always spells it with a Y
Ferrari used to, but recently has switched to an I on newer models
Fiat uses an I on their Spiders and I think always has.

You're talking about what used to be called the Great Rift Valley in my youth. The eastern part of that goes from Mozambique to Northern Ethiopia through Tanzania and Kenya. I honestly have no idea how many times in the 4 years I lived in Kenya that I went into the Kenyan part of the valley. Pretty sure that I must have gone through part of the Tanzanian part of it when going between Arusha and Dar es Salaam when I was 17. At the time I was at that school, it was owned and operated by Mennonites, but a field trip for Jr high students across national border would still be tricky.
The school had both boarding and day students. It was very small back then. There were 8 of us in 9th grade.
The step daughter of Herod who, in the story, felt shamed by John the Baptist and asked for his head.
I knew I'd seen that engine!
Could have sworn I saw a Weber sticker on a speaker.

I remember a Dick Van Dyke TV show where he bought a "Tarantula" (never seen in the episode) - a mid-life crisis theme. I loved that TV show - they did some pretty creative/out-there things. One in particular that comes to mind was the episode starting out with Rob and Laura having a domestic fight (very unusual for them) and one after the other storming out of their suburban house. Then.., in the empty house - the camera slowly pans to the aquarium in their living-room (pretty common then) and the two fish inside start discussing what they saw! The rest of the episode is their recollection/flashback of what lead to Rob & Laura's fight! Crazy surreal!
It was a fave. Remember the walnuts from space?

Thanks for that "in-the-know" industrial design history lesson - I love learning about this stuff! I agree - that's how design innovation happened then! But I'm actually blown away (via Pinterest) by the sophistication of car/motorcycle/bicycle innovation going on today - I'd have to believe it's at a new high-level.
I just use the EQ on the amp, don't have a compressor or volume pedal. I use effects pretty sparingly. Last night I turned on the mini Qtron for Chameleon, but that was my only effect for two sets.

No, but I'm sure it was awesome! I memorized one of Rob & Laura's lines from an episode where she was trying to impress Robs boss & wife who were coming over for dinner... Rob coming home from the (comedy writing) office - sees what she's cooking: "...Laura, piaya?, what are you doing?" Laura (sobbing): "...oh Rob, the neighbors said my meatloaf was harrrd..." Rob: "it's all over town..."
So wonderfully absurd!
