The real wings can double as bench seating when needed.

Right? McIntosh. Marantz. Onkyo. In our dreams. My pedestrian Pioneers got the job done. But I never had any real money.

Same here - I have a Denon CD player that I got at a thrift store, and a Radio Shack Optimus tuner & B&O-style turntable that I bought new in '92. But I do have a killer set of JBL Decade speakers I bought new in '76 and I had re-coned in the late 90's. I knew a few people that had high-end audio set-ups back in Chicago.

Epiphone doesn't do everything we want, but they do some cool stuff.
Epiphone Newport Review
I'm an unabashed Epi fanboy. The Limited Edition Custom Shop IVs are great basses. They are not Gibsons. And they don't pretend to be. But the two different pickups in them, depending on the factory and year, are great. Use stainless steel rounds and you won't be disappointed.

I guess it is in OZ. Ours was in June.

I was walking Mona in my hood on that June day and a street guy said "happy Fathers Day" ... having never had children, I thanked him as Mona is our little girl... :)

Mona attended our last Bond Girl show... she slept through most of it after a long walk that afternoon!

I thought I had decent stuff when I moved into my dorm at UC Irvine. But it was nothing compared to what the rich kids had. Funny thing was, everyone hung out in my room because I had all the discs. And my discs did not leave my room.

I have one that just arrived last Thursday. It's waiting to be installed in my BaCH II NR. I'm stoked. I love those pickups in my Gibson '21 NR.
Marshall, not sure when you wanted to do the soldering work, but this coming week is pretty booked up for me with doctor visits for the wife. The following week is looking pretty open though.

I've had them in my Epiphone for some time now, I much prefer them to the stock ones.

Meanwhile it was a toasty 87 degrees in Bremerton today, we hit it hard, but I can tell our guitarist just doesn't have all the chops to really make this go..........

Sorry about the guitarist.
