The pluses do work exceptionally well in the '05 Studio. And while the '13 NR is also a set net with plusses, and it sounds great, the '05 is magical.

Speaking of Lulls.... I have a line on an unposted Lull PT4. Pink P Bass with a Lull T-Bird pickup instead of the P. He's asking $3100. If anybody is interested, I'll put you in contact.

…and we're all hoping/assuming that the new "vintage re-issue" pickups that Gibson is now offering on their site are the same animals as the 2021 NR pickups?

I would not recommend it for flying or being manhandled by a road crew but for being transported to rehearsal and shows in you own vehicle I highly recommend this case. Gator makes great, reasonably priced cases. The Tbird case is sometimes available through Gator's blem site for $100. Miles picked one up not too long ago that he seems happy with.

That was my take on it. As of the other day, there was still a discounted second on the Gator site. I think about $100?

It's the same pickup, they're still using it in current Non Reverse production - Not a mystery.

Just over 51" from the headstock bump to the spot below the strap button - a bit farther to the actual case inside edge. The bottom end has a block in it to fit the reverse, but it feels like it should detach easily.

Irv,
I was a Chemical Process Plant designer and project manager for quite a while and everybody on my projects knew I had a real pet peeve about poor wire management and poor conduit and piping layouts. That wire management you did is exquisite! Well thought out, orderly, neat and tidy. I wish all the projects I managed looked like that!

Interestingly, every data center and most pharma and food processing construction projects I led had very well executed cable and piping routings. The biggest challenge was always in the Utility and Office Facilities, where there was a completely different mindset among the field supervisors and installers, constantly taking shortcuts and sacrificing order for cost only to end up with chaos and ultimately increasing operating costs on maintenance and modifications down the road.
