I am so tempted.

Looks way better than the Saab a friend of mine had when he was in law school here. The shape was ugly and what was paint that had an almost color to it made it even worse. I don't recall what year it was, I just remember feeling sorry for him as I rode around in my '76 Cordoba.

Saabs (RIP) were odd. They are a relic of the past, thanks to GM, which stripped the cash and shut them down. But they were decent. I almost bought a Sonet as I was heading off to college and it was obvious a ‘59 Volvo wouldn’t cut it.

no cable route under the PG…

Hummm, I think Greco didn't need it. Gibson was not very 'adventurous' creating that unsightly pu guide route. Most skilled builders use a long drill-bit at the correct angle to create that control-cavity to pu channel. I'd call the Gibson route a lazy "short-cut"...

sticker is a little loud and too close to the corner (as in the stock pg) but all in all pretty happy with the outcome….
talk about bark….

The one I got for my Anniversary Gilded Bird black pg was a raised gold sticker between two layers. You removed the base layer, positioned the bird, matted it in place, and then you removed the thin clear film on top leaving the raised 'sticker' on the pg. '64 pg on the left used as a bird positioning guide.

The RB Thunderbird I got recently has a hole from the neck into the bridge pup cavities, so no route under the pg - easy for them to do as it's a set neck so there's a pocket to drill from before it's glued in. Not making excuses for Gibson but they couldn't use this method on their 9-ply (billet) straight-thru necks, tho as you say they could have come up with a more elegant solution. I'm not that familiar with Greco's construction, are they straight-thru or set necks?
