Well, at this point calling this bass “white” might be a stretch… maybe a black pickguard (which may get put back to white if I can get the original one to “yellow” enough to match after a few months in the sun), and nickel bridge, pickups and tuners will tame that “cream”

Feels like a good player though. Nice and light and perfectly thin/not thin neck… the way all of the Gibson ‘birds’ neck feel, not a Jazz, definitely not a P, but somehow just right in between. I have a ‘70 and a ‘71 Jazz with the slimmest/shallowest necks of any basses I have ever touched, and a ‘73 Jazz with a slightly less narrow and slightly “deeper” neck, which gives it a somehow chunkier neck feel, but not in the P-bass range. The ‘bird necks all fall right between the ‘70-‘71 J necks and the ‘73 J neck, very much the porridge this Goldilocks likes to eat, just right.

I like Gibson/Epiphone necks because they aren't as wide at the heel. (Most are 2 1/4" vs Fenders at 2 1/2")
That makes it easier playing in the upper register for me. I also prefer a 1.5" nut, but I can adjust.

Plays looks like butter! ;)

The one I got for my Anniversary Gilded Bird black pg was a raised gold sticker between two layers. You removed the base layer, positioned the bird, matted it in place, and then you removed the thin clear film on top leaving the raised 'sticker' on the pg. '64 pg on the left used as a bird positioning guide.

should I send you the pg?

I also have two Epiphone T-birds, ‘17 and ‘22, and the necks are definitely bigger feeling. Still nice but just not the “slender” feel that I feel with the Gibsons. Each time I grab a Gibson it’s like, “ahhh, nice!”.

I know this is a long shot but, is there a way to get this nitro back closer to white, without a re-finish?

I don’t mind the discoloration over time, it’s a nice vintage look, but I’d like to wind the clock back a decade or so (it’s an ‘03) and have the white go to cream/yellow while I own it.

The RB Thunderbird I got recently has a hole from the neck into the bridge pup cavities, so no route under the pg - easy for them to do as it's a set neck so there's a pocket to drill from before it's glued in. Not making excuses for Gibson but they couldn't use this method on their 9-ply (billet) straight-thru necks, tho as you say they could have come up with a more elegant solution. I'm not that familiar with Greco's construction, are they straight-thru or set necks?
set (maple) neck, mahogany body....

I only had the one gold sticker which came with a black pg I bought on eBay. The post didn't mention it being separate (not applied) which worked out in the end because the pg sent wasn't the same as what was on the VP IV. I cut the one on it to match the VP's white one. The sticker isn't worth the price of the pg, but maybe someone on eBay is selling the raised gold logo sticker.

I sent an inquiry about buying the raised gold sticker separately from the eBay seller I bought the black pg from. (China) I'll let you know if they will.

I doubt that can be done. There's a chance it was already buttery-'white' from the factory, maybe to allude to an actual amber'd white finish like V's. My white Saundersbird (Epi) is old and still white.

Here's a parchment pg which could work with the bass colour.
