Oh my! You bought that Cataldo ! Congratulations! Thunderbuckers! Have Irv do a logo and you’re set.
I'd like a Hondo through one!I know, was just throwing out the SVT thing because I like a TBird through one.

What?????
There's always the SVT's lil' brother. The 100w V-4BH Classic. Same pre as an SVT but different power tubes (and 2 less). Great when you don't need to make people in the first few rows puke from the volume (as JimmyM would say). This one is a 2005 from and my Blue Line is a '96, both from St. Louis. Both sound great--big and clean and smooth.I was afraid when I got the SVT VR (Blue Line reissue; mine is a 2008 from Vietnam) that it wouldn’t be all that great at low volume. But it is outstanding in the basement at the mountain place. And I’ve only taken it past 5 a few times. I usually play it very low volume. I’m not sure what is different circuit wise, if anything, about it and the originals, but I absolutely love it (except for the weight). Anyone who wants a SVT should look at the Asian (Vietnam, South Korea, China) VRs (the first ones from ‘07 are USA, but there is reportedly no difference) as they are coming up more frequently at decent prices. Just be sure you have your proper lifting mechanics in mind when you move them.
No clue what that is, but I like it.

100% firm believer that I can make a bad bass through a good amp sound better than a good bass through a bad amp.
And likewise. Sweet.
Schweeet!
Great Score ! Glad I was able to post the link for your Black one Noct. Beautiful Both.

No clue what that is, but I like it.

Is there a TB rule about calling other people’s basses Butt Ugly?
