I haven't opened this one. It lifts the arm at the end of the album, just doesn't return or shut off. That's not a big problem.Did you get the table working correctly?
It sure sounds nice!

Yeah, but the rest of the EMGs are active. I don't want to deal with that. KISS.You can get other pickups in the EMG TB style. Maybe try reverse P pickups in the TB shells. That would sound different than TB+.
Just found this pic from a looooong time ago with my old Danelectro. That was a really fun bass.

I find them too frenetic at times. For me, best spun in moderation. Half side of an album and take a break until the next day or so. I have their late sixties, early seventies stuff. And I do get in the from time to time for them.I like the Who, but, and I don’t know how else to describe it, I feel worn out after a few songs. I don’t have that reaction to GnR, the Stones, Marvin Gaye, Kyuss, Sleep, or much of anything else.
Very cool shot! I've often thought a Danlectro would be good for sore shoulder days.Just found this pic from a looooong time ago with my old Danelectro. That was a really fun bass.

I’ll be doing that with the VP neck transplant project. The bridge will no doubt need to move back. Does anyone know where the VP grounds to? Claw or bridge?A little something for Jeff.......
Note the filled post holes.

That’s ballpark. Check with Fret Nation too. Great string company. Used the for years on my acoustic guitar. Ken here got me hooked on them for Thunderbirds. I love the Power Steels.I saw some of you chat up SIT strings. Saw these on sale. I honestly don't know if it's a good price.View attachment 5203845 View attachment 5203846View attachment 5203845
Thanks! They are. I think it was about 7 lbs.Very cool shot! I've often thought a Danlectro would be good for sore shoulder days.
YES!!!!! The Pelham Blue with a bit of sparkle. Beautiful Thunderbirds. There are only 400 blue ones and 400 burst ones. Congratulations! I put a Babicz on mine and love, love, love it. And the white pouch cases are my favorite. I run mine with SIT Power Steels. So it's Thunderbird Thursday? Look what came home with me:

am thinking I should go the Fenderbird route to put a 5-string 'bird together, I can knock up a neck with an ebony board and join in Whitebird Wednesday . . .
How do they sound? Thanks! They are. I think it was about 7 lbs.
When I had an office in Sacto and was living up there part time from ‘15 to ‘18, I stopped into the little shop in town that was a dealer. I think he said the one I spent time playing was less than six pounds. It sure felt like it. I didn’t buy it because I had just bought my ‘15 Tbird and my surf green Pbass. Always wanted one. Thanks! They are. I think it was about 7 lbs.
Sometimes it’s best not to think Donnie.Got me to thinking (poorly) about a BBQ themed Thunderbird. "BBQ Bird."
I did say poorly....
Can be boingy as the lipsticks are hot. Definitely a unique sound. You didn’t pick mine up at the GTG?How do they sound?
It was marketed as Pelham Blue. What is this color? I really like it. The fretless 'Bird is going to get refinished green. That color really looks good. I was thinking about late '60s Chevrolet Rallye Green. Your bass is close to that color, but it looks just a little darker and bluer and would look even better on a Thunderbird.
Oops! Srrry Will, I was so excited he got the PB Thunderbird. That is a cool green. What is this color? I really like it. The fretless 'Bird is going to get refinished green. That’s a cool car with Jaguar lines. But that top?69 Plymouth Barracuda “Mod Top” and a Dodge “floral” at the same time evidently. We never got them down here but after Chrysler bought the Rootes group locally made Hillmans came under the Chrysler Australia banner and a Hillman Hunter run came with the floral vinyl roof.

He’ll get it back in like 30 years. That's a nice line up! Glad you got the BaCH back from Marshall!
I love that bass. He was smart to get that from you.
‘72 was a great year. What motor?I think I would have to pass on the floral wear!
A cousin had a Forest Green '72 Fury coupe. What a beast.
I don’t think I did play that one. It was bass overload! Can be boingy as the lipsticks are hot. Definitely a unique sound. You didn’t pick mine up at the GTG?
