depends who you are I guess, works wonders for me..
back in the day, I had to either write or call the manufacturer and wait for snail mail (typically over one month) if they even agreed to send....I then had to go to the store to buy components (hoping they had them) for the job....
today, I can have all that done in less than three days without leaving the house.....truly (for me) hard to believe...
I'm referring to the fact that anyone can post anything anytime. True or not.

Cool bass Mr. Gator. Mine is the deluxe PJ with a J neck. MIM. The P pickups are great. The noiseless J pickup not so much. I was going to sell it until I put the SIT Power Steels on it. I will swap the J pickup at some point. First order of business though is to get the fret ends fixed. Horrific sprout since I’ve owned it. All I can figure is the neck was green when I got it. I have 21 other basses and none of them have done that. It’ a tuxedo with the black binding so I’m hesitant to file away to fix it on my own. It’s on the list to get sorted so I’ll play it more.What kinda self respecting Thunderbird Club member would own a Surf Green P Bass??

I did not gel with the EBCFs. I gave them a shot on the ‘15 Thunderbird for a year and on an Epi Goth. They felt great. I don’t have princess fingers or a reaction to cobalt. Just not my tones. Stainless rounds are my preference.
The only flats I have on a bass now are on a ‘13 MIM Pbass. It sounds and plays great with them.
