Getting a trumpet involved is a bonus. I may be biased on account of the kid. And thunderous bass, even if it isn't a Thunderbird in this recording. Plus, Cherie plays that BMM guitar and she is a knock-out anyway. What could be bettter?

Yep. The slush box had to go. A Camaro with an automatic just isn't right. Mine is row your own.

And yet, still my favorite transmission was the Eaton/Fuller 13 speed. Easy to keep the old Cummins in the right RPM range.

I gave up on manuals about 5 or 6 years ago. Years before that my sister was moving house and rented a 3 tonne truck with pantech. Of course the call came for big brother to drive it. By the end of the day I could hardly walk. The clutch played havoc with my left knee.

But I have a hankering for a 3 on the tree experience again.
