We will need a roof pretty soon. The asphalt shingles on our house have lasted 20 years now, more or less. I'm hoping we can put a metal roof on our house, with solar panels. That's the kind of thing I dream about these days. It's proof of being old or something.Rainin' like a MF here all week, the old cedar shake roof was good, it lasted for 29 years, but it was time and I don't regret it - keeps the Thunderbirds dry, Cat is pretty happy too.

Happy B’Day brother!
Looking forward to hopefully dropping in on you this time next year in Germany. Beautiful country, know many out of the way off the beaten path places there where we can knock down some cold steins. BTW - get used to potatoes, they’re cooked every way imaginable and served in practically every meal there, all good.![]()
Actually the EBs are a completely different finish than the Gold Bullion on the anniversary bird. The EB finish on my 2013 is very cool, super thin and vintage looking satin finish, and as you noted, player wear is burnishing it to a wonderful sheen that just adds to the mojo. They did the same thing on 2013 and 2014 EB models. The general population thought it was a cost cutting move, but I think it looks great. The nitro they put on those wears like iron and burnishes to a beautiful glowing sheen over time if it gets played a fair amount. I can imagine a gold 2014 Thunderbird is even more striking up close.
For me, opening the envelope with the Medicare card was what hurt the most.Uh oh, cats outta the bag.
You guys are the best.
Kind of a milestone today for me.
Let’s just hope not a kidney stone.

clip pls!….Love me some black tapes! I wouldn’t put them on every bird, but they sure sound sweet on my FrankenGoth with the Aggie onboard preamp. Earth shaking lows and glassy highs with a solid mid.
I'm looking forward to that day. Better healthcare for less money out of pocket. That's a little over a year from now, and it's going to be a good day so far as I'm concerned. For me, opening the envelope with the Medicare card was what hurt the most.
Listening to a Beavers game on the radio makes for one "ehem" moment after another. It could be worse, you could be that "other team" from Orygun, Thee Beavers - Their jerseys even say "Beavs" on them![]()

Not digging the moving to Germany part. You're gonna at least swing by Kentucky on your way to Germany, right?I still have yet to grow up.
So I’m keeping it that way.
I’ll be outta here anyway, so none of that Medi…….. stuff is gonna matter.
I’ll deal with what I need to in regards to that once I’m over on the other side of the pond.
