I won tickets to see Bruce in '78, fantastic concert one of the best live shows I ever saw. I think I'm all set, now I'd use the money to buy that NR.

staying dry is underrated....
Rainin' like a MF here all week, the old cedar shake roof was good, it lasted for 29 years, but it was time and I don't regret it - keeps the Thunderbirds dry, Cat is pretty happy too.
For $45K, they could throw in shipping! At least it doesn't "need a bridge cover".

My Sabbath/Ozzy tributes second show. It went pretty well and even though I don't use Thunderbirds for this gig I'm pretty pleased with my sound. I'm using a 7ender P I built with a J neck and mudbucker at the neck. Best part of this gig is I get to cover one of my favorite bassists Bob Daisley.

They did the same thing on 2013 and 2014 EB models. The general population thought it was a cost cutting move, but I think it looks great. The nitro they put on those wears like iron and burnishes to a beautiful glowing sheen over time if it gets played a fair amount. I can imagine a gold 2014 Thunderbird is even more striking up close.

The University of Washington and University of Oregon have a similar rivalry. The O that is on Oregon helmets stands for the number of national championships Oregon has won.Even better here are the in-state rivalries like Univ. of Louisville and the well funded Univ. of Kentucky. Most Louisville fans don't hate the school, it's their fans that are unbearable. I think it goes back to that eastern Kentucky interrelated family thing that gets joked about so often.... (Yeah, it gets heated.) I bet there's not a Thunderbird one to be found in Lexington.
Did I mention that UofL was the last basketball team in the state to win a national championship?
Yeah. I’ve seen him several times. Including the Darkness Tour that you saw. But we could be the seeing the last of the E Street Band Tours. Maybe not, but none of them are getting younger (like all of us). Max Weinberg is my favorite living drummer (RIP Alan White) and I don’t know how much longer he can manage three plus hour shows. He had open heart surgery more than ten years ago and has had several hand and wrist operations. How long can he keep it up? They’ve been an important part of my life for decades and I really want to see them one more time…I won tickets to see Bruce in '78, fantastic concert one of the best live shows I ever saw. I think I'm all set, now I'd use the money to buy that NR.

Happy birthday to Jeff! No, I won't be buying that Thunderbird for you. Sorry.
I think it's been resprayed. Why? The amount of paint filling in the serial and the way the finish has aged in the wiring cavity at the lip. But, that's just a guess.
