Thunderbird Club

For meetings, I always take notes on names. It doesn't always help past the meeting, but definitely does during.

New club rule, names are randomly generated each time? That could prove entertaining, and not AT ALL confusing. Right, Valarian?
That sounds perfectly reasonable to me, Marcellus.

I think I forgot to mention last year that my mutant Hagstrom made it into Premier Guitar (Aug 2022) in the reader feedback section.

Genius, Theophilus. I love the idea. Means I'm less likely to misname someone.

I use a pair of Global Kitchen Scissors they go right through crab skeleton like soft butter. :woot:
It's almost a bit barbaric really, cutting this big crustacean apart after you've steamed its flesh.
Horrific. Makes me want to become a Vegan.

Wait...

Even some plants know the meaty stuff is better.

I'm glad she found her way to you, she likes to be spanked....

I'll have to check my concert shirt, but I think I saw them in 2018, and they are still killin' it, I hope they come back here soon.

It was shortly after the Kennedy Center thing, and as I had expectred they did "Stairway" as an encore... probably he only person I would want to hear cover that song....
I’m hope they have resolved their issues, at least enough to appear together. I only saw them once. I was a Freshman or Sophomore at UCI. I think it was just before or just after the second album. I can’t recall where. Or who else played. From what I recall, we really liked the show. We were pretty blitzed.

those are really nice basses, I believe they are wired stereo as well….Carvin gets such bad rap….
Not sure why that is on the instrument side. Every one I have ever tried was at the very least 7ender quality. Some better. Kiesels made today still seem nice. But the resale value is pretty dismal. I’m wanting a five string, and have casually looked for a used Carvin or Kiesel as something to get to get a feel for one.

On the amp side, they produced some nice stuff. Then they closed the factory, laid off workers, and dropped product support. I never understood why they didn’t just move across the border from San Diego to Mexico and keep the amp production going.
