And still made in Santa Barbara.yeah it’s new pickup money, but these aren’t off the shelf pickups, I do have a few Duncan pickups, but I generally prefer Gibson factory pickups.
I chose to contact Duncan because they are a class act business and unlike some fly by night “custom” winder, I know I’ll actually get the work done, AND actually get my pickup back, and done correctly.
I can find a similar but not quite the same maxon pickup on the eBay for about the same price. And Duncan will make it to my specs and wax pot it.
Which phaser? How do you like it?
I thought it a cool ideal. Drop it back in the envelope and carry it or mail it back home. I thought you were onto something (not the same as being on something). It was slightly cleaner than the garage floor where I shot the pic.![]()

I'll be sure and post pics of my Pop-Tart and Grits.....
That reminds me: I also have a phaser(Oil Can)-that I don't use either.(shot on garage floor-no envelope)JHS 3 Series Phaser Pedal

As mentioned, I just wanted something I could have at home. I often just like hearing bass with a touch of it when sitting around, therefore didn't need anything expensive.
It was a little weird at first because when you add more feedback via the switch (think Script button), the blend stops at noon and does something different. It seems to un-blend the phasing, but actually does something else which adds a bit of subtlety. I asked them about it thinking it was broken and they said it was designed that way. Kind of smoothes out the swirling you might say. If interested, Miles, let me know and I'll search that email later and maybe that will help. It's not going to replace my old and beloved Phase 90, but I have used it at church a few times and I found it very nice and I wasn't wanting to fool with the setting the whole time. I would say it's a little more subtle than the Phase 90, but is not simply an attempted copy.
LOL - happens here all the time.Yeah George it's an age thing I guess. Mrs. Gator and I are only nine days apart in age. Here's a conversation we had...
MG..What is the name of that band that I like..you were playing a song yesterday.
Gator.. Can you give me a hint?
MG.. I think the band name starts with a B.
Gator.. ZZ Top?
MG..Yeah! That's it!

I'll show myself out....Is that an SB600?View attachment 5306673 My current pedalboard (and it's fretless friday!)
The Boss line selector, Broughton Filter and the Tonedriver od is the "nexus" of my ever so slightly overdriven sound (all three on all the time) With that combo I don't have to stress about having low end eaten away and even if that is too much I just click the line selector and switch it out of the circuit.
The ODD 471 (a DOD 250 clone) boosts the Tonedrive when I need more drive and the Ibanez Smash Box (which isn't in that line selector loop system) is the full tilt if that is needed.
I will move the Studio Bass comp to the second level as it is always on too, just have to get more longer patch cables. The Ibanez DCL chorus is interchangeble with my other other L- or 10- series Chorus or Delay pedals. I have a fixation for them.
Here's the most of the rest of stuff plus two pedals on loan from friends (Sabbra Cadabra and SD-1).
