Thunderbird Club

I asked a while back and probably wasn’t the first. I’d be willing to joust with wet pool noodles on a 12” wide plank ten feet over a swimming pool for it.
Just so you know, I am taking this very seriously. Already in training

And I call dibs on the purple pool noodle
It goes with my purple knob:

The competition safety harness is also purple…

The main Lemonade brands when I was a kid were Shelley’s (a local Sydney brand), Schweppes and Leed. Then through my teens Sprite came in. Later still 7-up came in (for Leed?) and Shelley’s died and was replaced by Kirk’s.
Our Lemonade is a clear carbonated drink. We have another class of lemon flavoured soft drink that we call Lemon Squash. It has a lemony colour to it and is less carbonated. Main brands Solo and Kirk’s. But it is also a pub drink for non drinkers and there are fancier can/bottled versions like Bundaberg of which there is an alcohol version as well.
Lemon Squash and gin or vodka. My wife’s favorite when sitting in a bar in Noosa.

I keep Lemon Squash as non alcoholic as a thirst buster. Even better when really hot and dehydrated is Lemon Squash with Bitters. The (Angostura) Bitters takes the sweetness down a little more and you don’t get that sickly sweetness on your lips and mouth. I’d have one of those to settle, and then go to beer. Otherwise beer when really knocked around by the heat can get you tipsy too quick. Can’t have that.

You’re in India? Try one.

Another refreshing drink is Robinson’s Lemon Barley. They used to use it at Wimbledon - so the Indians may still import it. I haven’t had one for 40 years but I expect we still sell it.

Lemon Squash here seems to be a generic name. The major online grocery outlet (bigbasket.com) has numerous different brands.
