nifty huh? what you're digging is the way the scope's been setup to capture the waveforms....looks cool because as Miles points out, Magnatone is probably the only amp with true tremolo. others just wiggle the amplitude fooling the ear but their waveforms would look boring with that same scope setup which favors a sweeping phase as occurs in true tremolo and because faithfully recreated by Magnatone, permits each channel of the scope to display their axis (X/Y) resulting in those little pictures also known as Lissajous patterns...point being, not just exclusive to tremolo as any signal with sweeping phase (there are many in communications) would look like that in that setup..

I have 15 thunderbirds and I strive to get a slightly different sound out of each one so I have lots of choices when playing different types of music. I’m not sure I’ve found one string that sounds best on all of them yet.
Current lineup consists of flats, rounds, tapes and coated.
Of the Flats - I lean heavily towards EB Cobalt Flats as my favorite, but also have Rotos and TI Jazz Flats
Of the Rounds - I lean heavily to nickel vs stainless, I have XL, Fender, GHS, Peyson, Optima, SIT and many others. No favorite.
Of the tapes - I like La Bella Black tapewounds, best feel and sounds the best to my ears, hated Roto tapes.
Of the Coated - I like DR black beauties but also have elixers and Peyson black daggers.
