Indeed!You know, I never really think about how "good" I am as a bass-player. I can spot a good player when I hear one and I'm nowhere near that level of playing or musicianship. Not being humble - just being honest. I don't compare myself to those players. I just strive to play the songs my bands cover, both original and covers as best as possible. When I feel synched with my bandmates as the low-end representative - I'm there.
So when someone after our performance says - "you guys sounded great" - to me that is the highest compliment, because that means we four were all in-synch playing as one.
That's wonderful!I’ve met the Grandson. It really is a special feeling but somehow different to when my children were born.
Add Edit: I mentioned that at 3.995kgs he was the same weight as my Thunderbird… eyes rolled at that one.
(For US readers a quick google says that is 8.8lbs or 8lb 12oz.)

Tubes are our friends!This amp is completely amazing, best 350.00 EVER! Played it loud with the band last night, so impressive, lots of good grind and warmth yet very articulate through the SWR. The bird sounds fantastic too, the SD Custom Shop pickups are well worth considering! Huge props to @ godofthunder59 Scott Dasson for the tip!

The batteries I recommended are from Vietnam. Just sayin’.
The feel is key to me. I’ll give up note for note to keep the feel.

I lit this pretty harshly, you can see that the plug has settled over time, the other two slightly less so - This is at least 10 years on from the refin.
