Thunderbird Club

Good to see you guys were cognizant of the need for hydration. What was in it? Junglejuice?
That is correct.
One part 100 proof vodka.
One part orange juice
One part pineapple juice
One part 7 up
One part Hawaiian punch.
In half gallon increments.
If you were cool you hollowed out pineapples for a drink cup.

Did the US get the song Sky High by the English band JigSaw ?
It was a hit here and a theme song for that Aussie movie I mentioned earlier.
Played over the opening credits for T M F HK

Kind of a rough landing at the end!

1967 Checker Marathon 4 door station wagon. A poor kids 55 Chevy Nomad.
It hauled a 3 piece band. Guys in front on the bench seat and PA / gear in the back.

There's an old Checker station wagon that drives around in Silver Lake/Echo Park/East LA, thing is a beast. I'd love to have something like that, talk about spare room!

It probably has similar cargo-space as my Honda Element. The old International Harvester station wagons were bigger and sort of an early SUV.

That’s what I’m seeing and hearing as well. The Tbird voicing lends itself very well to tapes. I have them on a Goth, very versatile. Old school thump to crisp clean highs depending on your EQ.
The first thing I did when I bought my first Thunderbird was put on La Bella black tapes. They were my favorite string until I was introduced to EBCF by chance. There were these interesting strings on my CP when I bought it, flat feel with purple silks...
