I love the Epiphone 760 Probuckers.

And you got it from the infamous best ever at the time on 48th Street.
That would be me with the hills problem. The kid grew up in Seattle, so he's pretty much an urbanite. The girl grew up in a suburb of Las Vegas, so she's not exactly a hill person, either. They can learn.Sounds like a good plan. Maybe even a reality TV show. Kind of a Hillbilly Partridge Family thing.
Proving you can take the boy out of the hills, but you can't take the hills out of the boy.
Oooooooooooo would you sell outright ?I *may* have another pair to trade for Gibsons................![]()
Probably better to be "sir" than to be "yo.""Sir" by the time he gets back.
Whoever put the cover on that EB copy was either completely incompetent or was trying to make people like me a little sea sick from looking at it.Ok, new toys. The EB is obviously a short scale. The case is original as far as I can tell. It is going to take a lot of setup work. The strings are a mile high.
The Kawai is long scale and I’d swear it came from the same factory as my National. It has black tapes with red silks. Any ideas on the brand? Setup is reasonable. The case is a Vox and definitely not original.

It was my photographing skills. It is actually on straight as is the one on the Kawai. I just don't know why the covers are in the middle of the strings? But it is shifted towards the PG.Whoever put the cover on that EB copy was either completely incompetent or was trying to make people like me a little sea sick from looking at it.
Dunno. I'm not impolite enough to watch the process.OK, I've played in orchestras with strings, clarinets, flutes, and the double reeds for years, but howinnahell do you starch an oboe?![]()

That's beautiful- thank you for sharing! Btw, what make is that? It reminds of the bass in this video of a relatively unknown ska-tinged song by the Fine Young Cannibals-

An EB-2 is just an ES335 with a 30 inch bass neck on it. That's exactly what that looks like, but Gibson didn't offer a black one or a fretless one. It must be a modified one or maybe a copy by somebody besides Gibson. It could be an Epiphone Rivoli that somebody de-fretted.I think the bass in the video is the bass equivalent of a Gibson ES355 (EB-2C?). Mine is completely different, an Eastwood solid body with through cut F holes. Mines not nearly as valuable as the Gibson but does sound quite nice and looks very unique.

So shall we start calling you Jimmy?
