FWIW, that has surfaced for sale a few times before over the years. If one is into that sort of collecting, it probably isn’t an outrageous price given its rarity. Not my cuppa, but it is kinda cool. I’m surprised it wasn’t listed on here.I found this on CL today...

I already have one. I just don’t see them often. Like Marshall said at 400/400 they seem to be rare.

Not bad given recent pricing for Thunderbirds and ‘15’s in particular. Seller hasn’t a clue about the taps. Someone here should get it. They are amazingly versatile tone monsters. If someone wants a Thunderbird that can get close to a J bass tone (not me, but it’s available), this can do it with stainless rounds and the taps on (both switches up). And with both taps off, there is the vintage Alnico tone. I’ve never found the number for the production run of these. But they jumped the price for the ‘15’s when they first came out to $2295. There was a lot of backlash over that so sales were slow. And there was a negative knee jerk anti-Gibson reaction to the pickup change for that year. But I will say to anyone who will hear me out that the ‘15 is the most interesting Thunderbird ever made. Oh. The neck on mine is incredible.$1890
Rich is a great guy. And a monster player.I bought a set of the metal knobs from @Ringhammer and they arrived the other day. Installed them on my modified BlackBird for now. The knobs are really well made and Ringhammer was great to deal with. I know he still has another set or two for sale. Hit him up!

Just have Irv @Engle make one for you if you want a different color. First rate work. And he’s a good friend to boot.Where did you get the white truss rod cover? looking to get one for my NR but the ones I'm seeing on eBay are slightly longer and would require me to drill a new hole for the top screw.
Yep, great movie. Movies have more fancy tech, but generally not better plots or acting (though most go to school for it now). IMO.So classic! We saw it opening night. One of the few movies I’ve been to where the audience stood and gave it a standing ovation.
Seems like that's been for sale before. (Likely a few times I suppose.)I found this on CL today...

I cut it out from an old WBW pickguard cover. I used the original as a template.Where did you get the white truss rod cover? looking to get one for my NR but the ones I'm seeing on eBay are slightly longer and would require me to drill a new hole for the top screw.
“Go ahead, make my day.” I’d post the clip from Sudden Impact, but that’s against the rules given the gun involved. Another standing ovation, both after the scene and at the end. Love his movies.Yep, great movie. Movies have more fancy tech, but generally not better plots or acting (though most go to school for it now). IMO.
Removed the PG and in the pic Miles posted was removing the TR cover to give to Irv to make them with chrome logos. Simple mods are fun. I challenge anyone to find a better playing and looking Epi Silverburst. It is one of my favorite Thunderbirds. Out of pocket for it is $250, including shipping with the neck popped. Although I initially had insert, bridge, and string height issues that required a shim before getting it dialed in to perfection. If I include my time based upon what I charge my clients, I coulda bought a Lull. But I absolutely love how it turned out.Marshall Mon…
