Head is Ashdown ABM 500.

I’m just a beginner with little to no experience but I like it. I have no desire for anything more in my bass rig at this moment.

Leave now to pick it up. That is a fabulous price in these times. Recall only 400 Bursts and 400 Pelham Blue ones were built. And that is the best case Gibson made IMO.

I found a set of the big Wilkinson clover leafs tuners (from my first VP that got a set of vintage style reverse clover leafs)that came with the early shipments of Vintage Pros so I installed them on one of my later VPs with the short generic tuners. I'm very happy with the results and more mass at the headstock is always a good thing imho.

Same here. I like lining things up, but aligning string ball ends? It's not something I want to spend time on.

Any chance a TBird pickup can be mounted flush on a jazz bass? I've seen some of the pancakes mounted that way.
