Thunderbird Club

Austin has lost a lot of venues where you used to be able to take your Thunderbird and a band to play because rich people buy land next door, build a high rise, and then less rich people buy or rent form those people and get pissed about the live music capital being the live music capital.

Typical.:rollno:(SMH)

Well, I'm free and easy :woot:

On a more (slightly) serious note, did you have something in mind? Last year we did T Shirts for the occasion, but they were to be paid for, not a giveaways.

This has probably already been mentioned, but there were some giveaways - strings, gig bags, toys, and other stuff.

We like Alaska and Delta for domestic US. BA and Lufthansa used to be good internationally, but I don't think we've flown out of the country since March of 2019, so unsure about international.

Was on Lufthansa just last Thursday.
On an A350.
But kind of a grueling flight.

No fault of the airline, service was great.

Not a bad idea. Except. The two guitarists only go north; the drummer is originally from the Seattle area; and I'm unlikely to ever leave FL again.

Seattle's north. South Florida is just The North but Southerer. So the whole continental US plus Alaska is basically south Florida. Make your plans for September, Mike. In Seattle. With your band!

Just going through stuff and cleaning up around here.
Forgot I have this and won’t use it.
It’s for an Epi CP.
But, got this from Larry right after I bought the bass, and he was offering this up.
The screw holes don’t line up with the original guard that was on there.
So how it’s gonna fit another CP, don’t know.
Long story short, pm me if interested.

Not a Thunderbird but interesting. This bass belonged to an engineer where I work. He died a few years back, I believe of complications from diabetes. His family donated it to our jam room. Sweet lefty.

Stagg's are 'bargain' instruments, similar to SX.
Willy I saw this mod and thought you might be interested in turning the 'Vette into a band truck!
