Thunderbird Club

Willy I saw this mod and thought you might be interested in turning the 'Vette into a band truck!

Seattle's north. South Florida is just The North but Southerer. So the whole continental US plus Alaska is basically south Florida. Make your plans for September, Mike. In Seattle. With your band!
Drummer went back to Seattle a coupla years ago-for a funeral. Guitarists go to the Northeast. Jacksonville, FL, is about as far as I'm even seriously considering going. Maybe.(Orbisonia being highly desirable but unlikely)

You keep mentioning Orbisonia. What are you dying (well, hopefully not!) to tell us?

Reminds me of where my wife worked (refinery then bulk storage). People in the area would complain about the smell and say it was causing health issues. There was one guy that just liked being on TV.
Two little facts:
1. The refinery was there since 1920s. The people were not and moved there knowing what was near them.
2. Kicker--the horrible smell was from the city waste water treatment facility which was next to her work.

People were told where the smell was coming from. But they knew complaining to the city was a complete waste of time...and there was no potential money (from "Evil Oil" which they didn't mind using). It was OK if the city stunk up the area--and it really did--but if a real company that was intolerable. At her work you literally couldn't eat outside most of the time. But city stink was OK. You couldn't leave windows cracked in a car or it would stink inside for the rest of the night.

Funny story about one of the main do-gooder activists. He called and got local TV there again to show he and his group were protesting all the toxicity Ashland (at that time) was allowing to get into the ground. He dramatically illustrated this (non-fact) by pouring quarts of Valvoline (owned by Ashland), in the front yard of the company. One of the workers saw him and ran over and grabbed it from him. Told him, "You're polluting you idiot! If the company spilt that much product of any kind on the ground there would be huge implications and costs involved and a legal matter if intentional--like you're doing."

"Smarte." A real deep thinker he was. But he got attention and felt good and that was really the point. The stink is still there.....
Careful now.

Yeah I get along with Bird, DC, EB and Ric ergos.

Rics are surprising to me because I like strap buttons around the 15th-17th-19th fret and rics are closer to 12th. maybe it's just because they look cool...

I do believe I'll salvage the DeColas from my 2017 EB4 and replace them with TB+'s and sell the EB4
Why? If you want to sell the DeColas, I really, really want them.

Singapore Air, KLM and Emirates were always my favorites for international travel.
American Airlines and any of the budget Airlines like Jet Blue and Southwest were my least favorite for domestic travel. Delta for Domestic has always worked very good for me. Buy your ticket as early as you can and get the most upgraded seat you can afford for best results.
My daughter came home last night and is avoiding the holiday crunch. I need her to get working on my flights for the GTC.

This has probably already been mentioned, but there were some giveaways - strings, gig bags, toys, and other stuff.

I will have a gig bag designed to fit a '64 Epi and some nice wooden bass shaped salad tongs. :woot:
