Thunderbird Club

I originally played their orange Hybrid Slinky set (45/65/85/105), in part because I like symmetry, but lately it's been the yellow Regular Slinky set (50/70/85/105). Since I'm tuning my birds to D standard, I'm going to try a set of the purple Power Slinkies (55/75/90/110).
My BEAD bass just used the fatter five out of the green set, which I think is their only 5 string offering in CFs (45/65/80/100/130). I've never tried their skinny blue set.

I'm currently using the 'pink' set(45/65/80/100)on the 67 NR. Really liking them. I EQ 'bass-y' so the 45 and 65 aren't too trebly-for me-but the 80 and 100 have plenty of bottom.

What do you prefer to use? Thanks!
Primarily SIT Power Steels and Dunlop Marcus Miller Stainless Superbrights on most Thunderbirds and other basses. I have a few others. Like Black Beauties (which are coated stainless) on the Sparkling CAR Epi Custom Shop and DA tapes on the TV Silver Custom Shop. I use Chromes on one P bass. I have Gibson nickel rounds on the short scale Tbird.

Thursday has got my back.

That set of Power Slinkies is one of the few bass strings the local GC stocks. I got a set and used them on the BaCH for a few weeks because the nut that was on it was filed way too wide and deep. Once the Tusq nut arrived, I swapped them out for my usuals. I can look for them if you want them.
