Thunderbird Club

Would somebody please buy the Pelham Blue ‘13 NR that’s in SanDiego? The buy it now price is fair and the seller might take less.

This White Epi is misidentified as a Classic Pro. It is a Limited Edition Custom Shop. The price is ridiculous. Looks like a nice one though. With the case, around $450.00 would be fair.

Either the seller didn’t bother to run the serial number and doesn’t know anything about Epi Thunderbirds, or he’s trying to pull a fast one. I sure hope someone doesn’t get duped.

I agree with Jeff that the Lavender Copper Greco is certainly one to think about. Interesting color to choose for a refin. I like it.

This is true - I'm going to look into ways of staying focused. There must be a method... TM? ... something like that.
Really really dark sunglasses maybe?

Mmmmm, some inaccuracy's in that Alpine White listing. And the TB-70 is listed twice. CL/Reverb
That Lavender Copper, is the one to get.
That copper one is beautiful.

Yeah, that white Eppi is certainly not a classic pro. If it was listed at Guitar Center you might have some luck getting the store to sell it at the proper price for a limited edition custom shop (about $500). Actually I think (correct me if I’m wrong Marshall) that Royal Olive one looks like a Limited Edition Custom Shop as well and is priced about right. Love the refin color on that Copper Greco.

Hard to live through this......
A friend posted this, managed to get the date wrong :)

He got the date right. It was like that on the 4th, too. We have those eclipses pretty regularly this time of year.

I caught a glimpse the “Royal Olive” one but didn’t pay attention to the price It looks to be gone now. Anyway, that was TV Silver. Royal Olive was, I think, a figment of some GC employee’s imagination. Mine has an incredible neck. It was the last of the Custom Shop line with a 1.5 nut.

Sounds great Mike! Really nicely balanced (slightly bass forward, as it should be) band. The sax sat in there perfect and the vocals weren’t overbearing, everything mixed just the way I like it. Even a sane drummer without a heavy hand. What more could you ask for. The casino did sound good. I’d be interested to hear what your setup was on the EB (tone knob, pickup, strings).
Thanks. Tone knob prolly ~7; pickup, neck only; prolly Chromes-I didn't know about EBCFs in 2015-but definitely flats. Always.
You were most likely hearing me direct. The PA speakers were way off to the sides. Video shot on the drummer's Handi-cam by my BIL. The drummer, btw, often doesn't play loud enuff. Don't tell him I said that.;)

Found this on the bathroom floor.

It's coming through the string slit in the blinds. But we thought was eclipse related for a second. Then told my wife I don't think that's what we think it is. I looked at the other end and there was long row of them.

I did go out at stare at it until I could see the moon covering it a little. Then took this.

(No, I didn't stare at the Sun. Staring at the Sun is not on my list of the stupid things done.)

I bought it on a whim. After trying that silver one of yours I fell in love with the deep dark tone, even beyond the Goth in slathered on bottom end. Figured I could return it if it isn’t to my liking. Here’s a screen shot of it before I bought it…

I assume the Limited Edition Custom Shops were the only Eppi Tbird offering with those LP style pickups. Again, if she’s not exactly what I’m looking for she’ll go back, I need another Tbird like I need a hole in the head (I already have 18, and no real duplicates yet).
