Thunderbird Club

Is it supposed to have a thin finish like that?
Yep. If you recall mine, the top was refinished at a shop in Providence to cover a large scratch in the finish. Like I say, mine is a really nice Thunderbird.

TT!

Yeah, not my favorite look, but…

Cost and CA tax, puts it out of reach. $2K I could do if that was all, just $2k period, and I could stick in on a credit card…

I'm going to be selling a '73 SVT and late '80's 810e with AV grille, and that would be the money for this. I'm getting the SVT gone through and getting all the tubes tested, etc, before I list it, doing all this tomorrow. I want to know I'm selling a good, clean problem free amp, but it won't be listed until Monday, and I'm sure it'll take some time to get it sold.

I love mine. Some like @godofthunder59 do not think much of them. But they are very rare and don't come up very often.

I REALLY want one of these, but I can't swing $2200.

I hadn't gotten along with short scales until my '66 KB-1, and that's a big lot of munny for a bird, but probably worth it.

had a SG, mustang, longhorn, and wild thing short scale and didn't like em.
