Thunderbird Club

I hadn't gotten along with short scales until my '66 KB-1, and that's a big lot of munny for a bird, but probably worth it.

had a SG, mustang, longhorn, and wild thing short scale and didn't like em.
They were $999 when new in 2011. That is close to $1400 today. They stayed in the low $1000 area when one occasionally popped up until the last couple years. They're rare. I hope the seller gets their price.

Bowmore 12 and Macallan 12 are what the house stocks, gentlemen :)
There will be some Pimm's #1 on hand along with a few other nice treats.
Scotch? For me, nothing but Laphroaig Single Malt will do. Discovered it when I was stationed in the UK, and... the rest is history...

Always on the hunt for a creamy smooth Scotch to drink neat or on the rocks, ideally low burn rich flavor - I have yet to find one. I recently bought a bottle of this…

OMG - smells like a combination of rubbing alcohol, iodine and hydrogen peroxide (strong hyper medicinal antiseptic type odor) and tastes even worse. Not sure if I'm just not a Scotch kinda guy or if this brand is an outlier in the Scotch world, but I absolutely hated it and couldn't spit it out fast enough. Good news is, my medicine cabinet is now fully stocked with antiseptic fluid to sanitize open wounds. :D

I had a blend knob since I bought this bass and was never satisfied. Today I ripped that out and installed a stacked VV. The dynamics and colour of this bass has just come alive! I am now convinced of my blend knob hatred and love VV. Downside: the big goofy knob.

Always been a fan of Vol/Vol stacks. Never cared for the way most blend stacks drop volume at center detent.

You probably wouldn't like Bowmore 12 year! The Macallan 12 is maybe worth a try - The GTG beckons, there's a Jackson here too :)

I liken Laphroaig to scotch like IPAs to beer. Those that like it really like it. Those that don't really don't.

I've yet to find any Scotch that would warrant the word creamy in the description without dropping some serious bucks on something 18 yrs or older.

That last part didn't sound right.
