Those Sterlings are nice basses for the price. Friend of mine is a Sterling endorser. His Ray35 through that Mesa 410 n 15 cab is just nasty. Punchy and full of snarl. Works nice for what they do in Final Drive (southern groove thrash metal). A TBird would sound great in that band but he hasn't been called.
Do beer goggles have adjustable settings?

Think that dollar for dollar, they are one of the best values out there. Just a really great playing bass. Had a five stronger here that I regret selling

Way too much math for a liberal arts person such as myself. I would observe the crowd over time and make detailed observation of their interactions with others. See how people gravitate back to those they blew off earlier in the night. Ideally you would want people to fill out questioners and surveys as they left the next morning to do the walk of shame. But, that's not realistic

I think with the gin and tonic route, at least, leaves a little wiggle room for some sort of rational judgement, nah, who am I kidding, last time I did gin and tonics I became a bit billigerant.

That does seem a bit high, I had one of those back when they first came out - didn't like it, the string spacing was obscenely close - It got traded off towards one of my '76s with no regrets.

I have had several of these and currently still own two. They are basically a 7ender in a NR costume and are well made basses. The 5er had tight string spacing but the 4 strings are fine with me. This one seems priced high but this is a long bass and it *might* include the case? Shipping is included and that part can get pricey. These don't turn up often and the seller does have the Make Offer option. Seller also has a Goth listed for way too much and that listing mentions including a case.
