I thought the Amboy Dukes were great. I didn't care for the solo stuff so much. Then he went looney tunes.

I really liked the Dukes as well as some of his later work - like the songs someone mentioned. Stranglehold life is still some of my favorite gooey liquid bass ever.

It was exactly the kind of over-produced, hair-metal-pop that he hated. I never listened to it, but still enjoy Amboy Dukes and Ted Nugent. And in the right circumstances, his rants can be quite entertaining.
