Thunderbird Club

I stand corrected... :)

There may have been some reason for the much earlier skips......... But I no longer recall. 471 is a boo boo but I'll let it go, not gonna make peep change their Sigs with club #'s in them. :)

Since you're going for that '76 vibe, and already have both Thunderbuckers and Hipshot clover tuners more or less on the way - Then why don't you order one of those nice retro 2-point/two piece bridges from Thunderbucker Ranch, that Carlo uses on his builds, as well?

The Cataldo bridge is NOT a direct replacement for a late model TBird, neck angle is way too high.

You could still assign # 471 to the next one, we're not that far away and I hardly think anyone would object to this... :)

Completely off-topic:

Am I the only one having problems using the quotation function in this forum? It seems that the first time I use a quote on a post, everything works as intended. However if I want to make a new post with another quote it won't let me paste the qoute into the post... I usually have to delete and add the qoute a couple of times, before it will paste into a post...

I hope that made any sense to you guys... :)

Long ago, yes.
I remember you and a few others around here from there. :)

I recall seeing your RD, the PG is memorable - Plus it's a way cool bass. Thank you for joining us here. I don't know if you recall Uwe from back then - he may have gone by Nosbig or Donnervogle at that point, he and another Pitter have a small forum that all the Gibson guys still hang at called Last Bass Outpost - very fun place!

Thanks! Yes, it's got more wear, but the pick guard is still the same. I still love it too. I've been lurking on here for a long while, and I haven't posted much. I've started to more recently though...

Yes, I remember Uwe too. Thank you for letting me know about the Last Bass Outpost. Very cool. I always wondered where all of you guys went! I will check it out. :)

Hey Mark,

Occassionally I visit The Last Bass Outpost too, and was wondering - is Uwe also a member of our exclusive club here at TB, or is it just Last Bass Outpost he's a member of? I don't recall ever seeing him around here, though...
