Thunderbird Club

I never found the 400+ to be inherently scooped sounding.
Massive, very much so.
The theory is the 400 at our practice space isn't functional at the moment because it needs a new fuse. But another theory is it could be blown because of a larger issue. Ultimately, if I can get it working, I can use it. But it seems like a can of worms I don't need to deal with. The B-15 is good.

Very cool! What happened, Ken?
It was a great band, that first (and last) show was great, then the singer/guitarist disappeared for six months. We figured he was dead. Then he reappeared and against my better judgement the drummer convinced me to give him a chance. We played for a short time and then the singer/guitarist at least told us he couldn't do it anymore. I said let's at least record the songs to have something to show for it. No response. That was over 10 years ago. Now he's an attorney. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If only the Mesa were healthy……

If Andy knows about the future status of them, he ain’t talking about it. We understand. But they could probably do a run of 500 of them and they would be gone in nothing flat. The production capacity in Petaluma is limited and a lot also depends on parts availability. I think their near term goal is to get enough of the core products built to catch up with pent up demand in Europe which didn’t receive anything in recent years due to the pandemic.
I’m 100s of posts behind somehow!

I just wanted to query Petaluma- the only one I’ve heard of is in the Sth Aussie wine regions.
Not the same then I guess.

Almost forgot - “Starman”, where Trevor switches from Fender to that Gibson (that looks like an SG but I keep forgetting the arcane designations for the bass versions)-

Greg Macainsh went to a Gibson Ripper for a while circa 75, including this song (a fave of mine) and I guess most of the Ego… album. (No film clip, album track).
