My bad motorcycle wreck? I remember watching it happen in slo-mo . But I can only recall a couple of stills from that slo-mo; most of it's buried too deeply to access.

That was a serious bolt! The one that nearly hit us early this year was a mere babe by comparison (still glad it hit the lights in the tree rather than us).
SRV played on the one album, but did the "unthinkable"[1] and walked away from touring with Bowie. And the timing worked out.
[1] The Bowie show was sooo not Stevie.

Luckily right? My worst bicycle get-off was descending Mt Tamalpais (Marin) at speed in '88, before I moved here in '90. I blew a left turn and the next thing I was aware of was being helped into a car and a trip to hospital. (blacked out/concussion) Basically a face-plant - glad not to have a memory of impact.

I put these on the Carvin. Soloed, I like those ProSteels, but with two guitars in the band, where I find the Thunderbird fills out some sonic space, I felt the Carvin was competing at times with the guitars. Already these sound better for that sort of mix. I'll try these with the band.
