The pave is a harsh mistress... I learned the hard way early on. Sometimes I blacked-out but a couple times I watched itt happen in (at the moment) in slow-mo...

Good luck!String talk? Just put a new set of EXL170M to my recently purchased Squier Rascal and now it plays great. Inspired by that I put on my gig clothes (or actually the tie, those are my regular clothes) and shades and started to wait (in front of the mirror...) in case some psychedelic power pop band needs a bassist with a green bass. The inverness green NR will travel too.

SRV played on the one album, but did the "unthinkable"[1] and walked away from touring with Bowie. And the timing worked out.He surrounded himself with great musicians. Just check this out:

My bad motorcycle wreck? I remember watching it happen in slo-mo . But I can only recall a couple of stills from that slo-mo; most of it's buried too deeply to access.
If they'd take me to Area 51 I'd be ecstatic!
Super cool! What's that top title?
And agreed, this place is the perfect coffee shop apart from that fact it's 97% virtual.

Maybe someone here can help me out, Having a hard time finding the info I need on Google so I'll see if anyone on here knows. I've got an epiphone thunderbird 64 and it seems like the string spacing is larger than normal for a thunderbird. The E and G strings feel very close to the edge of the board. My Classic Pro has a hipshot bridge which is I believe just shy of 17mm spacing. Does anyone know if the Newport had a wider spacing since it has a wider nut? The other 64 I had was closer to the classic pro spacing. Here are some pictures to show what I'm talking about. Was wondering if I maybe got a Newport Bridge if the spacing is different. The first one is my current 64, the white one is the classic and the red is the other 64 I had (best I could do was a blurry zoom since I don't own it anymore, and it's not dead on but I think it still shows the distance being larger to the edge of the board) it isn't unplayable but I am noticing I have to be a lot more precise, the G string has slipped off the board a few times.View attachment 5465355 View attachment 5465356 View attachment 5465357
