Thunderbird Club

Well, after my recent visit to the doc.
(Which by the way my cousin, who’s a PA says, I shouldn’t be as healthy as I am), he meant that jokingly)
No more food like that for Jeff.
My only battle now is my extremely high cholesterol.
Otherwise this guy can rock on for years to come.
I’ve been over 300 my whole life. Medication takes it down to +or- 270. Good news is that it is all because of high HDL. I generally eat healthy most days. The doctors told me to stop worrying about it.

The only cool piece is an Arkham Oracle. It's a sweet preamp/di that I really want to keep, but size wise it doesn't quite work for my nano board.

Other stuff is some jazz pickups, East preamp, PJ pickups.

Just found a "vintage white" jazz pickguard if anybody wants it free.

That Arkham is one cool piece of kit.

Yeah, I don't really want to move it. It fits in my nano+ board which isn't that big a deal. But I also have a Sushi Box Neptunium coming in that will fit exactly where I want it to. So I won't realistically use this guy much once that's here on Monday.

And I definitely already got this guy dialed in and made some Kemper Profiles with it.

They found an unreleased Yes song from "Fragile" sessions to the new deluxe box. Unfortunately it's not a Yes song at all but a Terry Reid song from his River sessions which started at Advision studios with Eddy Offord producing and feature a future Yes drummer Alan White.

I find it very odd that nobody questioned the song before it got added to the list. It's clear from the start that it's not Jon Anderson or even Chris Squire singing and definitely not Steve Howe singing (or playing guitar). Maybe somebody thought that Bill Bruford could sing like that and just kept it under a lid?
Come on, nobody at Rhino recognised Terry Reid? To say he is underrated is an underestimation.

Huh. Hadn’t heard about that.

Rhino hasn’t been the same since Nikki Monninger stopped working there.

TI’s have always been hit or miss for me.
Mostly a miss.
Now a big fan of Dunlop String Lab flats.
I had a G recently break.
I messaged Dunlop.
Talk about great customer service.
They’re not only replacing me with a full new set, they’re sending an extra set as well on the house.
I’ve been using their Superbrights (co-fav with SIT Power Steels) for a long time. Dunlop is a great, solid, California company.
